ABS Vario Avalanche Airbag Base Unit ,

The ABS Vario Base Unit is a your life saving tool and a must have in the backcountry. This base unit of the ABS avalanche airbags is part of a proven system to prevent burial in an avalanche and to survive the fall with the fewest possible injuries. To avoid burial in an avalanche you have to increase your volume by a factor of 1.5 of your body weight. The inflated ABS airbags give an additional 170 liters providing the necessary buoyancy to stay on top of an avalanche.

This unit does not include the activation unit or the canister.
