I grudgingly bought this backpack as necessary life insurance. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it is the most comfortable backpack I own. I'm 5'3" and got a small frame. It fits great. I thought it would be bulky and cumbersome, but it is not. The hip belt pocket is a wonderful feature and perfect for a camera. I grudgingly bought this backpack as cheap life insurance. Luckily, I haven't had to use it for an avalanche yet. I thought it would be cumbersome and heavy, but have found it is the most comfortable backpack I have ever used for backcountry skiing. I am 5'3" and got the small frame. It fits great.
