I wanted to get this boot for a couple reasons. 1. You could remove bootie and go through stream crossings with the main body of boot(found out this has mesh padding around the ankle, so it gets wet if you do this, it would not happen on the non-leather version). 2. Still not sure if I like the removable liners. Put about 10 miles on boots so far with no issues. Boots feel extremely comfortable . Wore boots to bed (in sleeping bag) with great results. So far I like putting on liners first then putting on boots is best way to put on boots. Like laces and lacing system
