With three and a half inches of depth, the Big Agnes Insulated Q-Core Sleeping Pad is comfortable and thick enough to keep you from ever feeling rocks poking you in the back or the ground when sleeping on your side. The toasty warm R-value of 4.1 keeps you warm for three seasons and even into the shoulder season between fall and winter. EZ-Flate valves are high volume and live up to their name, making inflating the pad a breeze; no more wondering if your lungs are going to give out! The included repair kit makes it easy to handle small tears and punctures without having to come home early. Big Agnes has made it too easy to take your Insulated Q-Core Sleeping pad with you everywhere you go.

Light and compact
Alternating I-Beam construction creates a smoother, more comfortable feel
Durable, light-weight nylon rip-stop top and bottom
Add a closed cell foam pad in colder temperatures for extra insulation
Non-breakable brass valve with plastic coated EZ-Flate mouthpiece
EZ-Flate Valve instructions: Twist black part of valve counter-clockwise to open. Blow into valve to inflate. Hold gray portion of valve in mouth while spinning black portion clockwise to close.
Store unrolled with valve open
Includes stuff sack and repair kit. The repair kit is in a small pocket on the inside of the stuff sack. It's sort of hidden, so look twice!

I wanted to add an update but Campsaver has no record of my purchase in my account nor writing a review of this Big Agnes pad. My review was very scathing of the pad and BA themselves but their customer service has been absolutely perfect and they are sending a replacement. I'm so happy that BA is living up to its reputation and sometimes I just love being wrong.....

I've had many variations of camp mats. Thermarest, coleman, etc.. I've never had a Big agnes pad, until now, and I have to say, I'm pretty upset that I didn't give it a go sooner. I am a side sleeper of the worst kind, so, sleeping during backpacking trips is a nightly flop-fest with my arms going numb or shoulders digging into the earth or sliding off the thing altogether. I really like the Q-Core. I'm of an age that I'm starting to get a few barnacles on my hull and it's nice to have the extra comfort of this pad. 57 is the sunrise side of middle age......right? Great pad!

I can't speak for the lifetime quality of this pad. I have only used it once for 2 nights in the grand canyon but it worked perfectly. Didn't lose any air through the night, easy to deflate, lightweight, and took up little room. Great pad for the low price! Wow! What an excellent pad. I am a bigger guy and have always had issues with to thin pads and end up still sleeping on the ground, not with the Q-Core. Comfy all night and I partnered it with the new Big Agnes Hig Park sleeping bag and it's like a resort in the mountains.
