Designed to easily attach to today's skis' wide range of tail shapes, Black Diamond's Ascension Nylon STS skins feature durable, hydrophobic construction and offer tremendous durability and climbing security.

Patented STS adjustable tails are now 20% stronger and provide 10 cm of length adjustment

Easily adjusts to different skis in your quiver, but also allows for one-and-done tensioning for fast transitions

These are great skins for variable backcountry conditions. The assembly instructions could be a bit clearer, especially in terms of describing directions that components should be facing relative to one another.

Due to the terrible snow conditions in CA this year I haven't used these yet. I can say, however, that they were much easier to trim to size than I expected. I was also happy to see that they came with a case and long-term storage material.

Great product, with great instructions. The cutter they give you to shape the skins stopped working halfway through the second skin and I had to use a razor blade. Can't complain so far.
