Its so nice to be able to have a removable attachment to make normal poles into whippets within seconds.
There is no reason to be unprepared anymore. Just keep these in the back pack and have them available at a moments notice. Weight is not bad on them.
But the removable feature is just unbeatable.

I have one of these already and I bought another to have with me on my trips. They fit very securely in the top of my BD carbon cork alpine trekking poles, and are very sturdy.
