Love these mitten for early morning runs. They are enough to stay warm but not have sweaty hands. My hands can’t stay warm in a gloves so mittens are a must. They wouldn’t be great if there was wet weather but perfect for dry conditions.
Its so nice to be able to have a removable attachment to make normal poles into whippets within seconds.
There is no reason to be unprepared anymore. Just keep these in the back pack and have them available at a moments notice. Weight is not bad on them.
But the removable feature is just unbeatable.
Got these for my wife for her birthday. The review are her words.- These were a life saver the first day I had them. Opened them in the morning and headed up to Snowbird to ski the Pipeline. Turned out to be a lot steeper than I anticipated. I attached my whippet and gave one to my husband. We both needed these to ascend and likely would have turned around without them. Love being able to have regular poles and whippets ready but stored in my pack.
Loved the 4s and after putting over 400 odd miles on them, I opted again for this shoe. I did try the Speedgoat 4 but realized I didn’t get enough cushioning. I have a neuroma so it’s thicker shoes from now on. So I shipped those back to the other store and got a killer deal on these. The durability of Hoka is hard to beat. Haven’t had blow out like other brands and can well run into the 300-400 miles without issues. Definitely recommend.
