The body design of the Orbit Lock adds strength and rigidity while maintaining a truly utilitarian size for everything from anchors and rigging to attaching auto-blocking belay devices where a compact D tends to fit better than larger HMS style carabiners. The proprietary SphereLock nose makes clipping ropes, webbing, chains and pro easy.image

I lost my harness and the gear attached, I'm very happy with the cost, size and shape of this carabiner for non-belay plate use. My first set was the gun metal color but these are on clearance and the price can't be beat and I have a decent amount of gear to replace now.

Cheap and light

Weighed much less than manufacturer specced which is a plus in my book. 1.54 ounces instead of the listed 1.7 ounces. I haven't had the change to try it out yet but I see no reason this carabiner shouldn't do it's job well. Workmanship seems good and I like the knob design. Cheap, light and looks great.
