Review for C.A.M.P. Orbit Lock Carabiners

Weighed much less than manufacturer specced which is a plus in my book. 1.54 ounces instead of the listed 1.7 ounces. I haven't had the change to try it out yet but I see no reason this carabiner shouldn't do it's job well. Workmanship seems good and I like the knob design. Cheap, light and looks great.

Review for Biolite PowerLight

It has torch, lantern and powerbank functions which is what I was looking for to use outdoors. I was hoping the light would be white and not neutral white which has a yellow tint, just personal preference on my part. The neutral white is supposed to give a more accurate color representation of the outdoors and comparing this to my other lights seems to validate this. I may yet become a neutral white convert, hehe. If I had a complaint, it would be the usb port cover which does not close tight to myc liking. Overall though, a great value and would definitely recommend to friends.

Great camping multi-tool

Review for leatherman-signal-multi-tool

Has what you need when hiking/camping. The sharpener actually works, which was surprising. As does the whistle. The screwdriver would work in a pinch. Would have appreciated a springloaded pair of pliers and operating it seems stiff, though this would probably diminish with use. I deducted 1 star because of the pliers not being springloaded though I knew this before my purchase. I have a Leatherman Free which is such a joy to play around with but looks too beautiful to misuse. The Signal though looks like it's much more rugged and able to take abuse, which is the reason I got it. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it for it's intended use, camping and biking.

Review for GSI Ultralight Salt & Pepper Shaker

For personal use, the shaker's size is just right. I just wish GSI made the two compartments in different capacities, as one would usually be using salt a bit more than pepper. The shaker's small size also is too small for groups or for multi-day outings. Still great to have though. Recommended.

Review for Trango Phase Straight Wire Carabiner

The trango phase straight wire carabiner weighs 30 grams by my scale. I have yet to use it climbing but material and workmanship looks topnotch. Length is 3 1/2 inches, width is 2 1/8 inches, gate opening is 1 inch.
