I bought this specifically as a summit pack, while hiking 14ers. Works great to strap onto a larger internal-frame and get you the rest of the way up a peak. Has all the accessories I was looking for- pole carriers, helmet mesh, lightweight, and extremely affordable (especially for including a bladder). I gave away my old camelbak to purchase this one. This is perfect size for those day trips. I have used it to hike Havasupai and also Grand Canyon while the donkeys carried the heavy gear. This is just perfect is terms of size. I am able to have my water, snacks, and room for clothing.
