The X2 Storm is a four-pole geodesic tent with an asymmetric shape that increases the porch size and stiffens the rear. This configuration, developed and launched by Crux in 2002 and unchanged since, has resulted in a tent that is phenomenally strong and out-performs all others when the weather gets serious. Stripped of all unnecessary features, the X2 Storm is also remarkably light, and these weight savings allow it to bebuilt from the strongest fabrics and components available (and which are by no means the lightest).
