Although the upper was the best design of all Hoka boots, the sole was way too stiff and had no cushion at all. Felt like walking on a 2x4 . Would have liked to keep the boot, but it hurt my feet just walking around my house for 20 minutes. These are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn. Substantially better. Like walking on clouds! Unfortunately, they are also the worst quality boots I've ever had. After about 40 miles in the boots, I've already had to glue the vibram cleats back on. And not just a couple of them. They are all just falling off.
