I wear an 11 in normal La Sportiva, and i ordered an 11.5 based on other reviews. The 11.5’s fit fine, but I probably could have gotten away with my usual 11. I wear a normal Smartwool PhD sock with toe and heel padding. These are very warm, nice cushion, and the spikes that are built in do a decent job. This is the shoe I have been looking for: mid ankle, GTX, mountain climbable/runnable. And it comes with built-in studs! I have handled almost any terrains from sand to snow; on and off trails, and even summit with snowshoe and crampons on!
