I chose G2 SM for my winter ascend to a peak 18600 F , where temperature can drop to -90F. before the final trip I tried it twice in a two hours hiking to the 8000F peak, both times gave me serious blisters on front and back of my heels which took me a month to be healed, I thought that was part of the breaking and it would be fine in the final attempt. unfortunately it was ...

They're comfortable (until you start walking), they have a very easy to use lacing system, and they're very easy to put on. The BOA system is super easy to use. Wonderful boots! Already had the Nepal Evos for ice climbing, but bought these 9 months before a Mt. Rainier climb to break them in on some winter CO 14ers. No real break-in needed, as they fit perfectly. The BOA system is awesome, but beware, you can easily get it way too tight. Awesome boot. Very little break in time. Fit well. 2 trips into tetons and i am proud to wear these. Wore them on trail to high peaks with much abuse. No issues except i had to come home. I would suggest to friends always. Proud to wear the best. I saw a couple stores carry them of which I shop a lot. They said they are ine of the top sellers
