I've only used this belay once but it was good and didn't have any issues. The belay itself is easy to use and didn't cause any issues or jam. It's always nice to not have to worry about that when repelling

This thing was a little bigger than I expected, but this has made it very nice for accepting ropes. It's not overly heavy, but there are lighter ATCs out there. The locking was very strong.
