good belay
I've only used this belay once but it was good and didn't have any issues. The belay itself is easy to use and didn't cause any issues or jam. It's always nice to not have to worry about that when repelling

Smooth Friction
I have been climbing for years... I utilize the aviator at my home crag. for the price It by far outdoes the R****so which can cost anywhere from 25-40 dollars. The lever on the back side is good for belay and rappel speed as the spring allows a very smooth action of taking and giving slack. This product helps boost the performance of not only the belayer but the leader who needs to know he's not

This thing was a little bigger than I expected, but this has made it very nice for accepting ropes. It's not overly heavy, but there are lighter ATCs out there. The locking was very strong. I'm not sure if the spring really helps too much, but it did seem to feed easier than others I've used.
