Used so far to climb oak trees four times for limbing and felling. I do occasional tree work, not professionally. I use just the rope and saddle, no fancy ascenders or other such gear. I put a loose loop around my boot for upward thrust and a Blake's hitch on the tail of my saddle attachment point to ascend me. This rope works perfectly after a little break in period. It was ti...

TL;DR Good buy, not for saving you from a drop but to keep you from dropping. Because this is a static rope its not meant for Extreme climbing. It doesn't stench like a climbing rope would, you would break your back falling off a wall. However for light stuff, climbing a tree or a small wall you should be fine but you will still hurt your back with a half harness. I was able ...
