This insulated technical ski jacket boasts a sealed two-layer construction that blends the warmth of synthetic Thermal R insulation with the weather-protection of laminated Marmot NanoPro MemBrain. We zoned in on details by incorporating a helmet-compatible storm hood with a laminated brim, zippered neck gusset, PitZips and powder skirt, and dialed up the cache of comfortable extras for a totally enviable package.

Light weight but warm on the biggest ski mountains. I can comfortably wear my northface down jacket underneath for extra warmth on negative degree days. I'm 5'8" and 125lbs. A size small fits great and is plenty long enough.

I love this jacket! I use it for skiing. The armpit zippers are great to give some ventilation while still keeping the wind and wet out. The mesh inside pocket is big and I stuff water bottles, and extra gloves or whatever else my kids may need in there. I normally wear a size 8 or Medium, but I already have a Marmot ski jacket in a size Large - which gave me enough room to add layers underneath. I bought this one in a Large for the same reason, but it was WAY too big. I returned it and ordered a medium. I still have plenty of room for layers, and it's very comfortable.
