I did a lot of research and looked at all of the brands. The EOS 1 had the biggest footprint while still coming in at just over 3 lbs. Tent is well built and materials are strong. Another 3 inches of center height would have been good, but the side entry and vestibule alliviate this issue.

I used this tent on my 5 month Appalachian trail thru-hike. Lasted the whole trip without incident, still use to this day. Weathered many storms and always kept me dry, occasionally got some water bear the foot of my sleeping bag although this only happend on a severve rainstorm. Im 5ft 9 and Could fit all my gear with me, had a 3 quarter length sleeping pad so used my pack as ... Read more
I use mine for hunting adventures in New Zealand and it stands up to the thick bush and heavy rain. I rate it on par with the MSR Hubba Hubba. Highly reccomended.

So far I've only taken it on a short hike so I can't attest to its durability yet, but this baby is... Read more
This tent has a large floor space so it's great when one is lying down, but it doesn't have enough headroom for one to sit up. I am only 5'1" tall, and I feel claustrophobic in this tent when I am sitting up. If it doesn't bother you to have the mesh walls right next to your head (and/or touching you head) when you sit up, then this tent will work for you. Otherwise, it's bette... Read more
About the only good thing that I can say about this tent is that it's easy to set up and fairly lightweight. However, the poorly designed fly made me return it before actually getting to use. The fly is really loose at both ends of the tent, and it is also just barely long enough to cover the mesh. Like I said, I never actually used this tent, but I could imagine that this coul...
