First use, bike packing into the alpine of the Canadian Purcells. Easy to set up stayed dry in the rain and all my gear in the vestibule. Condensation on the fly but not on me so I am happy.

It takes about 3 minutes to assemble the tent. You can sit upright which is great for someone who feels closter-phobic in a bivey. It takes up less than a fourth of my pack. Love this tent!

Very satifactory tent, but a little narrow inside and when you sit up in it in the morning, your shoulder and head rub the walls and get wet.
Otherwise I liked the tent very much.

I'm a lightweight backpacker but I'm not ready sacrifice the comfort of an actual tent just yet. This tent is everything you need for the backcountry when you are trying to cut your pack weight but like me, you want more than just a tarp. It's light, spacious, and easy to set up. So far I've only taken it on a short hike so I can't attest to its durability yet, but this baby is coming with me on a 700-mile section hike of the PCT and I can't wait to put it to the test :)

About the only good thing that I can say about this tent is that it's easy to set up and fairly lightweight. However, the poorly designed fly made me return it before actually getting to use. The fly is really loose at both ends of the tent, and it is also just barely long enough to cover the mesh. Like I said, I never actually used this tent, but I could imagine that this could result in water ge

I did a lot of research and looked at all of the brands. The EOS 1 had the biggest footprint while still coming in at just over 3 lbs. Tent is well built and materials are strong. Another 3 inches of center height would have been good, but the side entry and vestibule alliviate this issue.

I use mine for hunting adventures in New Zealand and it stands up to the thick bush and heavy rain. I rate it on par with the MSR Hubba Hubba. Highly reccomended.
