Mont Bell Thermawrap Sport Jacket has integrated stretch side panels to allow for a trimmer cut, better ventilation, and greater comfrort while in motion. They have optimized the fibers utilized in our hydro-phobic EXCELOFT insulation to improve warmth and packability by 10%. This series is a lightweight midlayer that delivers thermal performance in less than optimal conditions.

Runs a little large

Excellent jacket! Very warm for weight. I stood around (no physical activity) in 40 degree weather with slight wind and was warm. Adding a light rain jacket increases warmth to around 30. Dries quickly too, and the water resistant coating beads up rain. I usually wear an XL, but could probably fit in a large in this jacket. My XL does allow for more base layers .

warmer than expected

A great light jacket. The underarm panels work, too. Actually if you are not moving, maybe too well. How warm is it? I took a night walk in apporx. 43 degrees weather ( not much of wind) with this jacket, a t-shirt and Tachyon. Pretty warm. Almost too warm after 20 mins.
