Patented welded baffle construction eliminates needle holes in shell fabric, yielding a waterproof construction and protecting the down from external moisture
Laminated, double external zipper flaps keep water out
5 Inch baffle spacing keeps down carefully controlled for even, predictable loft" Six-chamber hood design maintains even loft around head for consistent warmth Ergonomic draft collar blocks the escape of heated air from inside the bag. The two-piece collar drapes naturally over neck and shoulders creating a soft comfortable seal. Two draw cords can snug down as needed to secure the collar.

This is an extremely durable bag. The conduit shell sheds water, and as long as you aren't sleeping in a swimming pool, it will keep yourself and the bag dry and warm. I spent almost 10 days in this bag at the Grand Canyon. I slept outside under the stars and never got cold or uncomfortable. I was there in March and it hailed/tried to snow one night and I tucked my head into the bag and went right back to sleep. The waterproof outer layer kept me dry and performed great. I got the left-handed zipper, long version because it was on clearance. I am 6' and there is more than enough room to move around; it does not feel claustrophobic at all. The material near the zipper seems strong. I am right- handed, but the fact that the zipper on the left is no problem at all.
