Took up the Sierras and wow was it great! Dropped down to the mid 30's and I was great. Expansion zipper really helps with temp regulation, and if you are broad shouldered like me. Very light and packs well in a compressing bag. Only thing I wish is this bag came in lower temp, so that I could have one for that as well.
I bought this to use in my hammock when backpacking. However, I couldn't stand the scratchy noise when shifting. It's the regular noise that most sleeping bags have, but I have been spoiled with my other one that is completely quiet.

I first used this product sleeping in a cabin in TN . The cabin had no air conditioning. It was about 40-38 degrees in the cabin. This sleeping bag slept wonderful! The expander is awesome. I experienced no cold spots. The zipper works very well. The look of this sleeping bag is also very nice. I get plenty of compliments from jealous friends. If you're thinking of getting this... Used it last weekend with a fleece liner the first night with temps down to 15 F. It was very snug, but it kept me warm. The next night, with temps down to 19 F, I left off the fleece liner and used just a thin nylon (Hammock Bliss) liner to keep the ... Read more
