Product Info for MSR Fury 2 Tent - 2 Person, 4 Season

The MSR Fury 2-person mountaineering tent offers unmatched double-wall strength and reliability. Its small footprint allows it to be pitched with minimal platform prep on steep slopes and ridges and it weighs just 6 lbs. 4 oz. (2.84 kg). A roomy, hooped front vestibule maximizes critical interior space and a large rear window keeps weight down without compromising the excellent cross-ventilation that's mandatory in a tent of this size.image

I agree with the other viewer that it was a challenge to setup THE FIRST TIME. That's why I set it up first in my yard a couple of times after it arrived and figured out how to do it. now, it's fairly easy for me to setup while mountaineering and I have done so many times in under 5 minutes.

This tent almost killed my partner and I. We were ascending Long's Peak in February and hiked through the night to the Boulderfield. It was -13 and we needed to make camp. We struggled for 1.5 hours to get the tent set up. It is VERY finnicky and difficult to pitch in the best of circumstances. Otherwise a great tent, if one lives long enough to set it up.
