Self contained kit; 1.8 liter capacity is great for two backpackers; easy to clean; lightweight. We’ve used this system a couple times on hikes and campouts for coffee and hot water production, it works great and pretty fast

This is a great stove system. Pot had a built in cozy, strainer lid, nested bowl, and many additional accessory pots available for it. The burner and fuel canister can be nested inside the 1.8 liter pot. It’s great in the wind as the name suggests. Lots of videos available online to get a better look. This is a remote mode of the MSR windburner , it works really goo for boiling water fast. with the remote structure, the will be no issue on selflock, the support is much more stable. Great geat from MSR!

I purchased the 1.8L System over the 1L system as this system allows for a remote fuel canister, larger pot and a lower center of gravity so tipping is less likely to occur. I have also purchased the compatible MSR WindBurner Accessory Sauce Pot - 2.5 Liters for larger group trips and campground cooking rather than backpacking.
