The suspension system works well and feels comfortable with all my gear. Pockets everywhere allowing gear to be organized. The stretch mesh back pockets are good for dry clothes or putting snacks.
I used this at an indoor convention with multi-hour long lines, it was easy to deploy and sit in a small space, and very easy to collapse and pack back up
I bought this tent last minute to take on a backpacking trip. It was this or the REI half-dome, and I'm glad I bought this tent. Compared to the half-dome, this tent was half the price, but the same quality. It is heavier than the half dome, but that's because it's made with more robust materials, aka, thicker. The REI tent is mostly netting, and should be used with the rain fly, otherwise you get zero privacy.
I picked up a LW a few years ago, and it quickly became my favorite sleeping pad, beating out several other well known pads. Super comfortable, and easy to inflate - mine takes only 4 fills of the included pump sack. I like mine so much I bought 2 more for my kids for a summer backpacking trip!
Love the product! I also wants to give props to the seller. I had some questions relating to my order and they got back to me very quickly and were extremely helpful!
Used it about 10 times now from winter camping at 12,000ft to windy days in the high desert. Overall it’s the best tent I’ve used. Although it’s roughly 4-5lbs I have no complaints with the extra weight compared to an ultra light tent.
We haven’t officially taken it out as purchased as fall arrived to replace a 30 yr old backpacking tent. However set it up and it was so easy and so much lighter than old tent.
Well I wish I could have actually tested the pack out. I bought it and didn’t open it for a month. When I finally got home from a month long job, I opened the pack to find it was used. And not only that, the wrong size…. It was a medium in a large plastic bag. Smelled of sweat too.
I like the backpack but it isn’t the same model as you’d find in rei today (summer 2023). Nothing major I different. But the feel of the hip and arm straps are different. Maybe worse than what’s out there today. It squishy not supportive if that makes sense. But not a deal breaker for me. I otherwise love the backpack. Great for overnights and two night trips
