Like its namesake, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, this expedition pack is expansive, accessible, and full of surprises. Sitting on the sturdy Guide Light Frame, you can load it from the top via the shroud access, get to all your gear from the side through the full-length side zip and store a sleeping bag in the bottom Speedzip. After a long stalk and a clean shot, the OVERLOAD feature of these Mystery RanchBackpacking Packs allows you to push the weight limits of what's humanly possible on a pack out. Expedition hunts feel like second nature when you carry the MARSHALL.
Features of Mystery Ranch Marshall Backpack
The new GUIDE LIGHT MT FRAME (Mystery Tech) continues the load carriage tradition of the tried- and-true Guide Light Frame and its rigid yet dynamic frame system, but with a few discrete changes. Utilizing custom-developed SJ Autolock buckles throughout, this new hardware collection provides the perfect blend of strength and weight. The 500D Light Plus fabric delivers high tensile and tear resistance, key characteristics for a robust, purpose-driven hunting frame.
The five-point waist belt incorporates the highly functional Redirect system and delivers solid weight distribution and eliminates slippage over your hips, regardless of the load.
OVERLOAD feature provides functional expandability via a load sling between the pack and the frame, allowing you to put the bulk of the weight closest to your back for optimal comfort.
The patented Futura Yoke easily micro adjusts to the torso length allowing the proper amount of stand-off between the back and frame.

Totally great bag i love MR products so much. Very durable and lots of space cant wait to use it this year for hunting. On a side note it arrived in a very beaten up water damaged box. The box was barely being held together at all and seemed like it was about to crumble. Very odd and not super thrilled about it but the pack itself was vacuum wrapped and completely undamaged so ... Haven't really used it yet except for carrying a seven gallon jug of water around the yard with it. 65 lbs (including pack) was still heavy but seemed a little more manageable than my Badlands pack. The torso adjustability really allows it to fit really well.

The title says everything . This is my first hunting backpack I’m impressed with the quality of the build of the backpack . I was looking for something that I can use for backpacking as well as hunting in this fits my need.

By far the most well built and tough backpack I’ve owned. Quality in all details, not a single defect. Very pricey but I expect it to outlast my backpacking days. For the price it should come with a couple pouches on the belt on top of the one in the main compartment that is included, which I ordered anyway, but the backpack itself is a beast.
