I like the fact that the heat regulator sits on top of the fuel source, so your hands don't get near the heat. It's really light & seems nicely adjustable.

This stove rocks!
Super light, steady and a really quick boiler...
1L of water took about 2 minutes in a sterile environment and about 4 in a windy outdoor condition.
It also packs really small so you can put in the pot for protection on the go.
One thing I noticed is the the value is sometime hard to adjust.

Amazing super light and compact stove. This ranks up with the Pocket Rocket in my opinion (another of my favorites) and is a little better than it in some ways. Has the advantages of a remote canister such as stability, ease of screening from wind and improved cold weather performance, and also simmers better than the Rocket. I have had and used the Xcelerator for about three years and can say without a doubt that it is a fantastic stove. Going from a top-mount to this was like night and day. I've only had an opportunity to check it out at home, but everything appears fine. Ran a couple of test boils in the backyard and I'm really digging how stable the pot (1.3 L Evernew Ti) sits on the stove. Flame adjustments are responsive and you can definitely dial it back to a nice simmer if needed. It folds up small and the fuel line is surprisingly flexible for braided mesh... Read more
I'm using this stove with a GSI microduallist. The flame gets bigger than the pot can really utilize, so if absolute efficency is key for you, use the full-size duallist or the kettle. I tested it at home with a GSI kettle at it boils about 15 seconds faster and there's noticeably less heat rising up past the pot.
