This stove rocks!
Super light, steady and a really quick boiler...
1L of water took about 2 minutes in a sterile environment and about 4 in a windy outdoor condition.
It also packs really small so you can put in the pot for protection on the go.
One thing I noticed is the the value is sometime hard to adjust.
Best Used for:
- Backpacking
- HIKING
- Ultralight backpacking

Amazing super light and compact stove. This ranks up with the Pocket Rocket in my opinion (another of my favorites) and is a little better than it in some ways. Has the advantages of a remote canister such as stability, ease of screening from wind and improved cold weather performance, and also simmers better than the Rocket. Durability seems good as does quality. Only slight downside is that a little more gas seems to leak out when removing the canister than with some other stoves I've used. As I bought this on sale few years back I couldn't be happier.

I have had and used the Xcelerator for about three years and can say without a doubt that it is a fantastic stove. Going from a top-mount to this was like night and day. Being a remote stove, you do not have to worry about the stove tipping over, the stable supports and legs easily can hold a 2 liter pot and the regulator, being located on top of the tank and away from the flame source, allows precise flame control and no burning the hairs off your hand. Also, if one wraps a piece of tinfoil around it, you have now created a great wind protector that focuses the heat to your pot and saves fuel, something you cannot do safely with a top mount stove. Heat output has been great (about 3-4 min to boil two cups of water) and it has worked flawless in temps down to 30 degrees but do not know how it would operate below that. Fuel usage wise, I have found that I typically burn between .75 to 1.5oz of fuel per day, depending on how much cooking my wife and I are doing (yes, we actually cook, saute and fry fish on it, not just boiling water). Bonus, the stove is very lightweight, packs small and has a nice little mesh case. Overall, this stove is awesome, fits my needs perfectly and I do recommend.

I've only had an opportunity to check it out at home, but everything appears fine. Ran a couple of test boils in the backyard and I'm really digging how stable the pot (1.3 L Evernew Ti) sits on the stove. Flame adjustments are responsive and you can definitely dial it back to a nice simmer if needed. It folds up small and the fuel line is surprisingly flexible for braided mesh. When bundled up the stove,110 g fuel cannister, Bic lighter, and Ti foil windscreen easily stow inside the 1.3 L pot (wider than tall). I look forward to using it on endless summer backpacking trips in the high Sierra with my son.

I'm using this stove with a GSI microduallist. The flame gets bigger than the pot can really utilize, so if absolute efficency is key for you, use the full-size duallist or the kettle. I tested it at home with a GSI kettle at it boils about 15 seconds faster and there's noticeably less heat rising up past the pot.
That said, it boils water super fast. It fits inside the microduallist fine, but I

Tiny, lightweight, ultra-strong, truly an engineering marvel among portable devices. Appropriate for camping, picnicking, backyard applications, day-tripping, power outages, emergencies, and any occasion when or where space is limited. Would not hesitate to give it my highest recommendation.
