Loading the water bladder is a pain with load straps in the way - you don't have to undo it, just pull them to the side. Also the bag had a strange bottleneck right in the middle creating sort of a lower and upper pocket. You kinda have to force things down into the lower pocket of storage.
Used it for international travel as well as day hikes. Love Ospreys because of their mesh back that keeps me cool. Nice features are the lightweight material, hoops on zippers for better grasping, camelback readyness is good. Wish it had a couple more pockets but then it would not be as light. I was looking for a small hydration pack to use when running or biking. I had borrowed a similar Osprey pack for a month long bike trip. Most of the competing packs are not made in a large/extra large size and this one fits my longer torso. The pack is well made with a lifetime guarantee. Looking for a small alternative to a larger day pack, I choose the Talon 11. It is compact, light and comfortable. One main compartment, two external stretchy side pockets, room for two one liter water bottles in the bladder holder, a bungee external jacket spot, trekking pole(s) holder, and two small zippered pockets is all that is needed for a 10 essential day hike! The Osprey Talon 11 was not really designed to fit a reservoir that size, I would maybe look for a smaller reservoir as almost all of your pack space would be used if you choose the 2.5L.
