I got this on clearance, so I couldn't beat the price. The coolest feature is the crown cinch in the hood that allows me to turn my head and have the hood turn with it. This is my first Patagonia product. I am impressed with the quality and how light weight this jacket is. I am gearing up an ultra light back pack and after some research this was the best price for the quality. Rolls up into its own pocket and takes up a very small space. I love it.

This is my second Torrentshell+ and I got it because the Torrenshell is such a good rain jacket. This one allows me to wear a Camelbak without worrying about damaging my rain jacket. It makes a good lightweight hard shell with enough room for my favorite mid-layer plus baselayer{s}. Very good purchase!

I use this as my main "hard use" rain shell. I use it for biking and hiking mostly. So far it's a great shell and repels the rain very well. My biggest wish is that it had a better inside pocket.
