good helmet that feels light and fits nicely, but the two adjustable straps on the back were digging into my head and causing a bit of discomfort after about halfway through a full day of climbing. just keep in mind, it may start getting a bit annoying after wearing it for a while

I bought this helmet for my boyfriend for when he's lead climbing mainly. He hates helmets but really likes this one so he's actually wearing it. Great quality helmet for a beginner - I love it! It's sturdy and adjusts well to fit just about everyone who I've taking climbing with me. Great for recreational tree climbing. I really like the 'dial' style adjuster on the back. Could use a little more ventilation for those hot days, but over all I'm very pleased with the product!

I bought this helmet for caving and I have been very happy so far with the performance. It has saved my dome several times already!
It's very lightweight, even on 8 hours trips it doesn't bother me.
The clips hold my head lamp very well.

I would say no. These are not designed for over the ear hearing protection. I am sure if you used in ear, it would work. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
