At first glance these mittens look like they're too thin to be very warm. That's what I thought, but I proved myself wrong yesterday on an attempt at Longs Peak. I've had this jacket for about a year now and it's holding up great. It's incredibly light, you barely feel it when you're wearing it. When you first go outside it takes a while to warm up as the down absorbs heat, but after you've been wearing it for a while it's really nice. My only complaint is that the zipper catches sometimes and feels flimsy. I also would probably need a shell if I wanted to
good helmet that feels light and fits nicely, but the two adjustable straps on the back were digging into my head and causing a bit of discomfort after about halfway through a full day of climbing. just keep in mind, it may start getting a bit annoying after wearing it for a while
