Petzl built these Work Headlamps with multi-beam technology that adapts to your needs, offering options for close-range, long-range and for when you're moving. This Petzl Pixa 3 Waterproof Headlamp is HAZLOC Class I Div 2 and Class II Div 2 certified for use in explosive environments. I took this light out of a backpacking trip and used it on the last 1/2 mile of our hike and on the trail I loved the fact that you can adjust the angle to suit you. If your tall or short u can find the right angel and the brightness level adjustment is also nice and easy to do. While at camp It felt comfortable and did the job of illuminating what need light

Purchased this for a mountaineering trip because the gear list was specific about bringing a headlamp that uses AA batteries (AAA batteries apparently drain faster).
