Love the adjustments
I took this light out of a backpacking trip and used it on the last 1/2 mile of our hike and on the trail I loved the fact that you can adjust the angle to suit you. If your tall or short u can find the right angel and the brightness level adjustment is also nice and easy to do. While at camp It felt comfortable and did the job of illuminating what need light

Full Size Headlamp
Purchased this for a mountaineering trip because the gear list was specific about bringing a headlamp that uses AA batteries (AAA batteries apparently drain faster).
The headlamp is considerably heavier than my Petzl Tikka but it definitely feels more solid. I like how the lamp turns in on itself to prevent it from turning on in your pack. The three beams it throws are all pretty bright and had me missing a red light in camp.
All in all, I hardly used this on the trip because I was already sleeping by the time it got dark. Not a bad piece of gear though. It's gotten some use around the house. It has some nice bells and whistles but it does come with extra weight.
