Light and durable, love the bend in the handle for solid arresting and ergonomics. The pick isn't as sharp as I'd thought, and why doesn't this come with protectors. I only use it one time but so far so good, very light and sturdy. For my purpose, this will last me a lifetime.

The Summit Evo is a good general ice axe. However, I thought it was a little heavy. In addition, I didn't really like the textured spray on the handle. It seemed to me that it would wear off over time. In my opinion there are other ice axes out there at a better price point.
