Nothing compares to this filter, NOTHING! It is the best out there. I meet hikers all the time that, after a long day on the trail (for me I aim for 15-18 miles a day), get to camp, exhausted and out of water, and they have to pump their water, treat it and wait for the minimum time to pass, or boil it and wait for it to cool. I really like this system but was hoping that the bag would open wider to facilitate easier filling. I find myself having to get water from precarious situations and it would have been nice to be able to tie a thin rope to lower it to a water source. But a bag does not work well for this. The clean bag is not included in this product as it is a bottle kit, so it attaches to your bottle for the "clean" water. We do carry the 2L and 4L filter kit that includes the clean reservoir.

Thanks for your question, Doreen. That item only comes with the "dirty" reservoir (which can be connected to your platypus hose). It does not come with a hose that has the ability to attache to the dirty and clean reservoirs.
