I paddle desert rivers and this is perfect for using as ice bag in cooler so I can Preserve the melt water for drinking Platys are always tough as nails Have had there soft bottles in a drag bag the entire length of the Grand Canyon and held up fine

Bought this to replace my previous Platypus 6Liter carrier that lasted well over ten years (it was the tall version). This version has improved stability and a slightly improved closure. Invaluable add for any backpacking trip, especially groups of two or more people where pumping/filtering water is required. Very little weight added to a backpack but saves making several trips to a stream/lake to refill smaller containers every time someone fires up a jet boil or needs to refill their Nalgene bottle.
