Decent carrier for short carries - Platypus Water Tank

Bought this to replace my previous Platypus 6Liter carrier that lasted well over ten years (it was the tall version). This version has improved stability and a slightly improved closure. Printed on the bag is the instruction "press to close, invert to test" . Worst advice ever. Especially in a canoe. However it is stable enough to set on the ground and have the water remain in the tank (the previous version required hanging or it would collapse and empty. The closure strip does not work. It will close, but it will open with the slightest disruption. Also picking up a full container causes the closure to open IN ABSOLUTELY EVERY CASE. It's more bucket than tank. But its a good bucket. Fills fast and easy. Very durable. Don't invert it. Ever. Take my word for it.
