This bottle is well built and will work great as an emergency fuel bottle but sticking a child proof cap on a gas can is wrong. The construction is better than I thought it would be and will seal well with the large O ring as long as room is left for expansion.

These are very well made reliable fuel bottles. Great size options depending on the length of your trip and fuel consumption patterns. These seem to have improved over time, and were always good. I would happily buy these again.

This fuel bottle appears to be a worthy successor to my old Sigg model, which had a pin-hole leak after 25+ years of use. The Sigg was a bit easier to use, since it didn't have the ratcheting safety cap of this new one. Overall, this new one seems to be a quality piece of equipment.
