These are very well made reliable fuel bottles. Great size options depending on the length of your trip and fuel consumption patterns. These seem to have improved over time, and were always good. I would happily buy these again.

The Mystery Ranch Urban Assault 21 is a clean lined pack which is perfect for carrying daily needs. Its a straight forward pack with no extraneous bells and whistles. I appreciate the clean lines and low key profle. Its a good, solid, well made pack.

Good solid pole. Seems to be well made. Used this last summer for an exped 3 tarp and it worked well in a number of different configurations. No complaints. Its solid, does what is was needed for. Doesn’t seem to have any flimsy parts or things that seem likely to break over time. I’m happy with it.

I purchased these pants for hiking, travel, and walking. I really like the fit and feel. As other reviews have noted you do have to unbuckle and unzip when nature calls due to the short zipper length. Not a big deal really but just something to be aware of. What has been a huge pleasant surprise is how well they function in winter. In temperatures in the low thirties with heavy winds after a little bit of walking they are pleasantly warm. I haven’t tested them at lower temps yet. I also don’t know how they would be if one was standing still. I had contemplated getting one of the lightly insulated pairs, but for urban winter use these are more than adequate. If I were using in the mountains, with long underwear they would probably be pretty good as well (unless just sitting around...). Definitely recommend these if you are looking for three season hiking, travel, urban use. They are slim but a little forgiving. Definitely not a baggy or loose fitting pant. Not form fitting as in tight, but they do follow your form if that makes sense. I like them and would buy again.

So this is a relatively simple piece of equipment. Its very well made. I don’t think I’ll ever need to replace it. It may be useful for other purposes, I’ll have to play around with it a little to see what else I can use it for.

This pack is the perfect size for most day to day activities. Like most Mystery Ranch products this is well made with good materials. It fits the basic things you want to carry around on a daily basis. Its streamlined and has clean lines. It looks sharp but doesn’t draw attention. You probably don’t need much more that this, if you do check out the 21.

These are really solid well made accessory straps. The provide good compression and hold a load well. Easy to use. Light weight. Store easily. Easy to attach. Good for sleeping pads, yoga mats, jackets, tents, or other similar items.

I first used a tarp some 35 years ago when camping with NOLs for a month in the Wind River range. It was great. Of course bugs were not much of a concern. Years later I’m returning to the tarp and with the addition of the Mesh box and a ground cloth I will have a flexible system which puts me closer to nature. The meshbox is well made with high quality materials and solid attachment / hang points. It’s very light. While not for everyone, this box alone or paired with a tarp makes for an interesting and effective alternative to a traditional tent.

Osprey makes great gear. The attention to details, functionality, performance, and comfort is really beyond question. It’s hard not to like everything they make. This pack is no exception. I wouldn’t likely use this for back country use, but I don’t think its designed for that purpose. For all other uses its excellent, especially if you are looking for that one bag to so many things. If the size is right, go for it. If looking for something larger consider the Fairview or Farpoint 40 liter versions.

I purchased this to squeeze even more utility out of my tarp. I probably could have made this myself, buy snow peak has put all the parts together in a high quality manner. It’s a really handy item for slinging under tarp to support all kinds of things. It’s well made, packs down small and comes in a stuff sack. Great for hanging lanterns, drying clothes, mosquito netting, and the like.
