Will the long Cross Mountain take a 25" Pad?

This bag comes with a stuff sack. Dimensions are posted below.
Regular: 7.5 x 6 in / 19 x 15 cm
Long: 7.5 x 7 in / 19 x 18 cm

What type of synthetic fill? Water resistant, etc.? How many liters for compression?

The synthetic fill is a proprietary material called INTEGRITY. It's a Short Staple synthetic insulation with 97% recycled content. It isn't water resistant, but it does not lose its insulated value when wet. I can't find any information on liters for compression. Sorry.

Yes, you can use any pad, provided it is the correct width (20 inches).
