What is the better attachable filter for this reservoir for NE USA, typical mountain stream/lake water? The regular in-line or the in-line virus? Is the virus overkill for my use? Will the regular one do the job at providing safe drinking water? — 1 Answer

In the US, we don't typically have to worry about getting a virus from the water. You should be just fine with the In-line filter, not the Virus filter.
