Does this item require filters? How long does one filter last? How many gallons of water? Does it remove Chlorine?

This unit will require the XL filter that is capable of treating up to 150 gallons depending on water quality. It will remove chlorine.

HOW PURIFIED IS THE WATER AFTER IT GOES THROUGH THE FILTER? WHAT DOES IT FILTER OUT OF THE WATER?

The water will certainly be drinkable. The filter will remove living organisms like Cryptosporidia, bacteria, and viruses.
