I have flat feet & hammer toes. *6 but still on my feet all day. Wear a 13. Are these shoes right for me. Do I need to go up one size to 14? Looking at the Primal 2 shoes. — 1 Answer

I am not a foot doctor. These are minimalist shoes. They have zero support. Your feet are suspend to support you not your shoe. But many of us have wrapped our feet in bulky shoes that don’t let our feet work. So our arche breakdown and ur feet become flat. It is possible to rebuild your arches for most people. If you are overweight I would recommend cutting weight before trying to rebuild your arches. But a shoe like this can help with that process because it makes you rely on the natural strength of your own feet. I did say I’m not a doctor but I only wear minimalist shoes for the last 3 years and my arches are strong again. I never had flat feet or fallen arches though. I recommend doing some research on the internet. A foot doctor will just prescribe orthotics. Some people need those but most can rehabilitate. It might take two years to rehabilitate though. Do the research.
