I love Lems Primal shoes. They are pretty much the only shoe I wear.
I had the Primal 1, and I've had 3 pairs of Primal 2's. That's 4 pairs of Primals I've had to buy in about 3 years.
The fact that I've bought so many in only 4 years means they wear out pretty fast. Or at least, the mesh does. The mesh has torn on each and every pair of Primals in less than 1 year. At least ... Read more

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Easy to slip on and off with just enough support to walk on Rocks and sharp objects without compromising the bottom of your feet. I have worn these or two weeks since I purchase them and have no intentions putting it in the other shoes on in the new future

i had a pair of keens years and years and years ago that i loved. felt like i was walking around with no shoes on. they quit making them so ive been looking for something like that ever since. well i have found them. these shoes are extremely comfortable and light. Prob the most comfortable shoes i have put on my feet. you will not be disappointed.

So yeah...pretty comfy but not the greatest build quality. After normal wear and tear (no hikes or anything...just city use) started coming unglued in one spot. Luckily Lems has a good warranty. I probably wouldn’t buy another pair of Lems. The Primal 2s are not as good as my other minimal shoes.

I have been wearing minimalist shoes since 2012. Surprisingly, the various brands are shockingly different in terms of fit, feel and how they affect your gait. To cut to the chase, I think Lems are the best, and for a long time I couldn't figure out why. Just went on a 50 mile hike in the Adirondacks with these packed in, and they were a welcome relief from my hiking boots! I was able to compress them into a stuff sack the first day, then hang them from a carabiner off the back after they got abbot dirty. Very light, versatile, and comfortable.
