At what temperatures do these slings start to degrade or melt.

Dyneema has a melting temperature of around 300 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are going to use this for climbing then the suggestion is to store it in a cool dry place and out of direct sunlight. During normal use your sling shouldn't experience any environments where it even comes close to the melting point. If it does then you should retire it immediately.
