This 60cm sling makes great alpine draws for your trad rack. Or for slinging chickenheads when no gear can be placed. Just be sure to get different colors for different lengths so you grab the correct sling.

These are my preferred sling for alpine draws. They are light, easy to work with, extend easily. The only reason these aren't perfect are because the fibers catch on the rivets of carabiners. Still an easy recommendation.

I love mammut slings because at the edges of the stitching there is no raw edge sticking up to catch on the biner or loops of the sling when extending the alpine draw. Good work Mammut. And the 8mm material packs so small.

This sling is perfect. Super light, compact, 22kn strength. I have yet to see the durability, but unless you are really putting these through their paces, this is the one I would suggest for anyone; sport, trad, or otherwise. It comes with a handy chart of knots vs. strength loss which I found useful. I use this for top rope anchoring and I would call it bomb proof (assuming your anchors are good that is ;] )

These are great slings. Strong and light weight. I purchased the 60 and 120 cm, which are great for alpine trad climbs. Be sure to get the different lengths in a different color, so that you can quickly identify easily which length is which

I use my 180cm as tree huggers for my hammock,
a couple of wraps gives me a wide, flat band, so
I don't damage the tree.
They're under stressed to say the least.
Everthing I was looking for....lightweight,
compact & strong.
Luv 'em.
