So two parts here: 1. Is the IsoPro fuel actually a propane/propane blend? 2. Is the valve attachment compatible with "ordinary"/non MSR propane cylinders? (think propane torch cyls) — 2 Answers

The fule is usually a propane/ butane mix. This stove attachment is compatible with all canisters that have a Lindal Valve on them (Jetboil, Snowpeak, MSR, and Coleman all sell canisters that will work with this stove).

The IsoPro fuel is a 80/20 blend of isobutene and propane that outperforms regular butane/propane mixtures.
The MSR will need a valve adapter to work with the universal cylinders.
