No, it comes with an Air Sock that inflates the pad; it is integrated into the Stuff Sack and works well and reduces your breath directly entering the pad.

No, you can inflate this by mouth. The pump stuff sack (included with the current model. i don't think included with this sale item which is a prior year model) or other available pumps, just makes this easier on your lungs.
